Hi, hi!
It’s been a minute since we posted a Favorite Things list! I feel terrible about it, but there’s a very good reason, which is that we’re expecting a second baby girl in early fall.
I wasn’t really planning to take any kind of break, and had a whole lot of fun spring recipes and DIYs planned. But somehow, even though this is my second pregnancy, I forgot how insanely sick I get when I’m pregnant—nonstop vomiting for months!—and any kind of blogging or video-shooting or photography was just not happening for a few months. Dave has been the best little sick-day buddy through it all and is always curled up next to me. I think he’s loved having me spend so much more time lying down. 🤣
Anyway, we’re very excited about the big change coming to our family. Dave and Lizzie blew my mind by becoming the ultimate dog siblings to Baby Bridget as she went from tiny toddler to busy little girl, and I can’t wait to watch them do it again. I know that they both can’t wait for the baby-food-throwing to start again.
Now that I’m finally on the mend and have added some new posts including an easy naked birthday cake we made for Dave’s birthday, some great Father’s Day cards for dog dads, and a round-up of everything you and your pup need for a summer of fun.
