I’m going to be honest about something right now: as a kid, I was always more excited about opening stockings than I was about opening my actual Christmas gift.
My mom did such an amazing job of wrapping up a bunch of fun, silly little things. And while I generally had a good idea of what I was going to get as my main Christmas gift—usually something for my American Girl Doll—I never really knew what I’d be getting in my stocking. Maybe that’s why even as an adult, I get SO excited to do stockings with Bridget and the pups.
For Bridget’s first Christmas, we bought a set of really cute pastel boiled-wool pom stockings for our family. But I keep hunting for the right coordinating dog stockings to match them. I want something that complements them but isn’t identical to the human ones…. and it’s way harder to find than I expected! All of that to say, I’ve been looking at a LOT of dog stockings recently.
