Our Small Business Saturday Shopping Guide is Finally Here!

I can’t even tell you how excited I am to share this year’s Small Business Saturday shopping guide. We had 29 inspiring small business owners participate, and their thoughtful and unique gifting ideas are sure to help you find a winning present for even the trickiest grinch on your shopping list.

Here’s how it works—we invited small business owners who create products for dogs or dog lovers to tell us their favorite item from their shop for holiday gifting. But then we also asked them to recommend an item from another small business (not necessarily dog-related.)

It’s been incredibly fun to see all the great products and shopping ideas as I’ve put the guide together. But my favorite part–which really truly gave me warm fuzzies!–was watching the small business owners recommend products from other businesses in the guide, even though they didn’t know who else was a part of it. In an already divisive year that’s been extra tough on small businesses, it’s so encouraging to see an atmosphere of collaboration rather than competition. It was truly my favorite part of this process.
